Off the coast of Ecuador, there is a collection of nationally protected volcanic islands & islets, known as the Galápagos Islands.
The most accessible of these islands being Isla Isabela, Santa Cruz & San Cristobol.
The Galápagos Islands are a magical place, alive with; iguanas & sea lions, birds & sharks, fish, lizards, dogs, a host of friendly locals, live music, dancing, laughter community. It's a place of unbelievable beauty, with some of the most blue water in the world.
Getting to the Galápagos,...can seem a little daunting due to the limited flight options and number of flights it takes. To help, I have created a little cheat sheet to make it easier. I even included options on easy ways for flight attendants to non-rev!
Hello Internet Family!
Thank you for checking back in! I am so excited to be sharing with you this my little picture of this incredible city by the bay.
(Queue the Journey song) If I ever had to pick one city to live in for the rest of my life, it would be the beautiful and abstract San Francisco.
There is so much to do, so much to see, so much life, that there is absolutely no complete guide to this city. With that being said, after a year spend living in the heart of the downtown I have compiled a list of my must do activities.
I will always hold this city near and dear to my heart, and I really hope that you get a change to explore it for yourselves.
Thinking about a vacation spent on white sandy beaches?
This side of the island might not be the one for you then... If you want to live like a local, hike some beautiful terrain, or spelunking through lava caves, think about spending some time in Hilo Hawaii.
A little background.. From 1983 to 2018 the Big Island of Hawaii was alive with a constant flow of active lava. In 2018 the island erupted devastating the lives of those whom lived here. When you strike up a conversation with a local 9 times out of 10 they will show you a video of where they were as they watched their home being destroyed during the eruption. It’s heartbreaking to witness but also mesmerizing to see what earth is capable of. Since then, there has not been active lava, which was a main attraction, causing tourism for the East side of the island to diminish substantially.
